Ed Leisher, CLU
As a Partner at AgencyONE, Ed is a recognized leader in the life insurance brokerage business. He has been instrumental in developing business models that support high-end producers; enabling them to grow their business and bring more value to their clients. Ed founded The Potomac Group in 1990, a nationwide insurance marketing group with 168 agents. In 1998, The Potomac Group was acquired by the BISYS Group. After leaving the Potomac Group, Ed co-founded Potomac Partners Insurance Resource in 2004, in order to serve a growing need in the wealth preservation and premium finance market. By 2009, Ed rejoined his former partners, Dennis Bartos and Gonzalo Garcia, to form AgencyONE. Ed’s primary responsibility is business development and carrier relations. He is a past president of Forum 400, a life member of MDRT/TOT and a member of AALU. In 2015, Ed was the program chair for the TOT meeting in Naples, Florida and in 2016, he was the recipient of the Forum 400’s prestigious Humanitarian Award. Ed travels extensively with his wife, Amy, and son, Eddie, exercises rigorously, and enjoys skiing and cycling.
