“AgencyONE Gives Back” had our first event on 4/1/2013 at The Children’s Inn at NIH. Children and families travel from all over the world come to the National Institutes of Health (NIH) because conventional treatments have failed to have sufficient impact on their illnesses. Located in Bethesda, Maryland, NIH is the world’s premier bio-medical research facility. Children receive treatment for illnesses such as cancer, heart, lung, blood, bone and growth disorders, mental illnesses, and HIV infection.
Several members of the AgencyONE family helped serve approximately 60 guests of the Inn. Cactus Cantina, one of the most popular Mexican restaurants in the DC Metro area, was gracious enough to donate a fully catered dinner for the families. The families were so grateful for the wonderful meal and we were very humbled to hear their stories of strength and courage. A wonderful evening was had by all and we can’t wait to volunteer at The Children’s Inn again very soon!
